Job Description
As a Yard Operative at Kiverco, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of the workshop and yard area. This includes handling goods in/out, assisting with deliveries, and supporting production activities in line with health and safety standards.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Goods In / Out
- Record goods in/out accurately using SAGE and kit lists.
- Identify and report shortages or damages.
- Assist in stock counts.
- Label and prepare parts for movement to other sites.
- Safely load and unload deliveries, adhering to manual handling guidelines.
- Liaise with production and management on incoming and outgoing goods.
- Inspect all goods for quality and completeness.
Yard Maintenance
- Maintain a clean, tidy, hazard‑free yard.
- Report any health and safety breaches or hazards.
- Ensure walkways are kept clean and safe.
- Escalate maintenance or safety issues to your supervisor.
Health and Safety
- Follow Kiverco’s Health and Safety policy and Company Safety Rules.
- Assist in identifying and mitigating hazards.
- Set an example in safe, responsible behaviour.
- Ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained and used safely.
- Conduct daily forklift checks before use.
