Are you practical, reliable and happy working outdoors? We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our team on an ad-hoc basis to help with the setup and cleardown of agricultural shows throughout June to end of August.
The Candidate Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with erecting and dismantling show stand (signage, flooring etc.)
- Helping to unload and load equipment and materials (tables, chairs etc.)
- Setting up display areas
- Keeping the show stand tidy and safe during setup and cleardown
- Working as part of a small, friendly team to tight deadlines
Skills, experience and personal attributes
- Someone physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to muck in
- Ability to undertake some DIY to maintain/fix show equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Flexibility – work is ad-hoc and based around show schedules
- Driving licence and ability to tow a show trailer
Typically weekday set up and weekend post event cleardown. Zero hours contract or self-employed considered (self‑employed will require public liability insurance).
Location
Work takes place at various agricultural showgrounds across the South West. Collection of show equipment and materials will be from the Holsworthy Livestock Market.
