Helpdesk Administrator
HRUC (Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge Colleges) is a thriving Further Education College Group in West London with far‑reaching ambitions for our IT and digital provision. We are seeking a pro‑active, customer‑focused individual to develop a career in IT and join our successful team.
Location: Based at Uxbridge but may be required to work from any campus
Working hours: 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: £26,779 – £30,709 per annum
Responsibilities
- Report to the Service Delivery Manager and manage all tickets on the Colleges helpdesk system.
- Act as the first point of contact for customers across the College, resolving incidents and requests on the first call where possible.
- Escalate issues to IT Engineers when appropriate.
- Process orders of equipment, check and process invoices, and liaise with suppliers.
- Prioritise a busy workload effectively under pressure while maintaining a high level of customer service and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong administrative skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
