HRUC (Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge Colleges) is a thriving Further Education College group in West London. We are seeking to appoint a Database Administrator/Analyst to take responsibility for the overall health, performance and security of the MIS servers, and analyse data and produce reports to enhance the quality and timeliness of management information.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and maintaining the performance of the College’s MIS servers
  • Installing and configuring database servers
  • Assisting with the management of new MIS developmental projects
  • Providing reliable, timely information to senior management

We are seeking a well-organised and pro-active individual who can demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience of working with SQL databases
  • Experience in server maintenance – on premise and cloud (Azure)
  • Experience creating automation scripts via Powershell
  • Experience of data analysis and reporting from large databases
  • Experience of producing reports in a variety of formats to meet short deadlines
