KittyCard is the next-generation social finance platform transforming how people manage money together. We eliminate "money drama" with pre-funded shared digital wallets and virtual cards—allowing groups to pay for everything from rent and groceries to holidays and festivals. We are currently scaling to capture a piece of the £780 billion UK consumer payment market.
This is not a traditional role. You will own the full growth engine for an early stage start up to drive viral user acquisition whilst working with the founders on securing high-value B2B partnerships. You will be responsible for winning users, keeping them, and ensuring KittyCard is the default payment method for any group activity across UK based consumers.
What You’ll Do
- Primary Focus: B2C: Viral Content & Social Growth to drive brand awareness, app downloads and active users.
- Content: Execute a high-frequency social strategy to define our category voice.
- Content Creation: Work with internal and external teams and creators to build a library of content to ensure a continuous stream of reels and posts are released.
- Social channels: Define appropriate frequency of post per channel across TikTok and Meta focusing on humorous, relatable "money drama" themes and user case stories, such as holidays, stag dos, nights out, house share etc.
- Utilize Reels, Carousels and other methods to highlight user value and frictionless spending in keeping with our brand tone of voice.
- Acquisition Engine: Manage the launch budget across the social channels, university campus DOOH, student brand ambassadors, and referral incentives. Maniacal focus on driving app downloads and user onboarding ensuring the highest download to active user ratio.
- Community Engagement: Lead authentic conversations in forums (e.g. LinkedIn, Reddit, Facebook, Mumsnet) where shared spending pain points are widely discussed.
- Secondary Focus: B2B: Strategic Sales & Partnerships
- Work with the founders to help build strong B2B partnerships.
- Sector Outreach: Pitch KittyCard to hospitality groups, travel companies, sports teams, festivals and all other appropriate businesses.
- The "Efficiency" Pitch: Sell businesses on driving traffic, higher spend, increased table turnover, higher conversion rates, and the reduction of manual bill-splitting time and associated costs.
- Event Playbook: Execute a repeatable strategy to maximize group spending during peak annual windows (e.g., Summer Holiday bookings, Festival season, and the "Back-to-Uni" rental rush).

- Seasonal & Event Milestones
- High-Traffic Velocity: Achieve transaction volume increases during peak social windows (e.g., sporting events, bank holidays) via venue-specific "Kitty Perks".
- Leisure & Festival Yield: Drive a demonstratable higher average spend per group at partner venues vs. individual card-payers.
- Rent Automation (Sept Back-to-Uni): Ensure +25% of new September users create a recurring "House Share Kitty" for automated rent, bills, groceries etc.
- Partnership & Revenue
- Affiliate Yield: Achieve a 10% click-through rate from "Travel Kittys" to integrated booking partners.
