We're looking for an in-house HVAC & Maintenance Specialist to keep our growing number of managed offices running smoothly, whilst ensuring that new offices we're opening are finished to the highest standards.
You will be:
- Kitt's first line of response for HVAC and mechanical issues: diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and recommending specialist contractors where needed.
- Maintaining heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems across our estate — including seasonal commissioning, fault diagnosis and preventative servicing.
- Performing site inspections with a focus on mechanical plant, identifying issues before they become tenant complaints.
- Present when HVAC and mechanical contractors attend sites, ensuring completion of works meets Kitt's standards.
- Carrying out general maintenance and repairs including leaks, plumbing, minor electrical works, lock changes and light decorating.
About you:
- Proven HVAC experience - fault diagnosis, servicing and repair of split systems, VRF/VRV, fan coil units or similar commercial systems.
- F-Gas qualification (or working towards). Additional qualifications in refrigeration or building services are a plus.
- Solid general maintenance skills - comfortable across plumbing, minor electrical and light carpentry.
- Strong understanding of health and safety, particularly around mechanical plant and refrigerant handling.
- Good communication and professional client-facing manner - you'll be representing Kitt in occupied offices.
- Well-organised with good attention to detail - you can manage a schedule across multiple sites without dropping tasks.
- Comfortable working alone and as part of a team.
Why Kitt?
The world of work has shifted forever. As people everywhere prioritise purpose over their paychecks, company culture has been thrown into the spotlight. But the problem is, too many companies are showing up to work in bland, cookie-cutter offices. We’re leading this change. Real company culture can only be built in-person, in the real world – and for it to be authentic it needs its very own, personalised space. That’s why we create offices as unique as the brands and the people who work there. We’re long-term culture partners to our clients long after they've signed the lease and chosen the paint colours.
Interview Process:
- Video Interview with Michael O'Dwyer (Maintenance Manager).
- In person interview with Michael O'Dwyer (Maintenance Manager) and Charlotte Vaughan-Reynolds (Head of Operations).
- Final interview with Simon Warner (COO).
We'll Kitt you out:
- Generous stock option scheme (ask us what this means if you’re not sure).
- Starting salary of £45,000 - £50,000.
- 28 days holidays a year plus Bank Holidays.
- Parental leave: up to 12 weeks paid parental leave for the primary caregiver.
- Pregnancy loss support leave.
- Regular socials. We love a good party.
- Octopus MoneyCoach.
- Workplace Nursery Benefit.
- Cycle to Work scheme.
- Season Ticket Loans.
