Kitson Associates are excited to share a fantastic opportunity for aTechnical Coordinatorto join a largely successful housebuilder due to continued growth within the team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical aspects of residential developments from design to completion
- Manage consultant contracts, fee proposals, and appointments.
- Work closely with internal teams, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure all designs are buildable and comply with regulatory standards.
- Ensure all technical information (working drawings, consultant documents, and approvals) is accurately coordinated and submitted to building control and warranty providers.
- Support the Land, Planning, and Development teams during land acquisition and planning condition discharge.
- Lead and participate in Pre-Start Meetings to align departments on engineering and design requirements.
Skills and Experience
- BTEC HND/HNC in Design, Construction, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience in a technical role within residential construction, including experience in project design and delivery.
- Proficient with AutoCAD
- Commercial awareness and the ability to make decisions within your authority.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Mathematical proficiency and a keen eye for detail.
