We're working with a well-established residential developer with a strong presence across South Yorkshire who is looking to appoint a Planning Manager to join their team.
The Role
- Managing planning applications from promotion through to approval
- Developing planning strategies to support land acquisition and development objectives
- Liaising with Local Authorities, planning consultants, landowners and key stakeholders
- Supporting land, technical and commercial teams throughout the planning process
- Monitoring planning policy and legislation to identify opportunities and risks
- Coordinating external consultants and managing planning budgets where required
What They're Looking For
- Previous experience within a Planning Manager or Senior Planning role
- Experience within housebuilding, residential development, land promotion or planning consultancy
- Strong understanding of the UK planning system, NPPF and planning legislation
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Commercial awareness and the ability to support strategic land decisions
- A proactive and organised approach with the ability to manage multiple projects
