Due to internal promotion, Kitson Associates is hiring an experienced Technical Manager for a successful housing developer in Northamptonshire. Reporting to the Technical Director, you will oversee design and utility coordination, ensuring approvals and timely information flow between consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & coordinate technical design, utilities, and approvals
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, NHBC & sustainability standards
- Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and internal departments
- Manage budgets, reports & performance targets
- Resolve technical & construction challenges efficiently
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years in construction/development
- Strong technical knowledge (Building Regs, NHBC, planning laws)
- Experience in managing teams & partnerships
- IT proficiency (Microsoft packages)
- Degree in Planning or related field with RTPI eligibility preferred.
