Senior Quantity Surveyor Staffordshire

Up to £70,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits

Our client is a well-established and growing housing developer delivering high-quality affordable homes across the Midlands.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team and play a key role in the successful delivery of projects across the region.

The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple developments from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered profitably and in line with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full commercial management of projects from inception through to final account.
  • Preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, valuations and cost plans.
  • Procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Administration of subcontractor accounts, variations and final accounts.
  • Close collaboration with construction, technical and land teams.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Housing Associations, Local Authorities and Registered Providers.
  • Supporting the successful delivery of affordable housing and partnership-led developments.

The ideal candidate

  • Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor role.
  • Strong background within Partnership Housing, Affordable Housing or Residential Development.
  • Experience delivering Extra Care Housing, Supported Living, Retirement Living or Specialist Residential schemes – desirable
  • Experience working with Housing Associations, Local Authorities and Registered Providers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Experience with regeneration and brownfield housing developments.
