We’re working with a well-established residential developer looking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technician to join their Technical team. This role reports to the Technical Director.
The Role
- Driving technical and design input from land acquisition through to construction
- Creating and refining layouts, planning drawings, and technical packages
- Leading on planning submissions and managing the process end-to-end
- Coordinating building regulations and construction information
- Acting as a key link between design, planning, and site teams
- Attending site meetings and resolving technical challenges in real time
- Managing external consultants and specialist reports
The Ideal Candidate
- You're currently working for a developer (min 5 years experience)
- You’re confident handling planning applications and technical coordination
- You don’t wait to be told, you take ownership and push projects forward
- You’re comfortable balancing multiple projects without dropping standards
- You can communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams
