My client is a leading Partnerships Developer and due to positive growth within the region we are looking for an Estimator within new build/social housing industry.

You must be comfortable in preparing and controlling budgets, maintaining a build cost database, and producing cost plans for new build residential projects.

The role is an important position within the commercial team, working closely with the land team on land appraisals for potential sites they are looking to acquire, and the sales team on specification and pricing.

Experience

  • 5 GCSEs (A-C Grade) or equivalent, including maths.
  • A BTEC in Building Studies, Building Engineering or Building Management or a HNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management/Civil Engineering (or equivalent work experience)
  • Working for a housebuilder/social housing company in an Estimating or Quantity Surveying role
  • Experience of working on land appraisals.
