We’re working with a well-established residential developer looking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technician to join their Technical team. This role reports to the Technical Director.

The Role

  • Driving technical and design input from land acquisition through to construction
  • Creating and refining layouts, planning drawings, and technical packages
  • Leading on planning submissions and managing the process end-to-end
  • Coordinating building regulations and construction information
  • Acting as a key link between design, planning, and site teams
  • Attending site meetings and resolving technical challenges in real time
  • Managing external consultants and specialist reports

The Ideal Candidate

  • You're currently working for a developer (min 5 years experience)
  • You’re confident handling planning applications and technical coordination
  • You don’t wait to be told, you take ownership and push projects forward
  • You’re comfortable balancing multiple projects without dropping standards
  • You can communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams
