We’re working with a growing engineering consultancy specialising in highways, transport planning, and infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a CAD Technician to join their Midlands team.

The Role:

  • Assisting with the design and delivery of highway and infrastructure schemes
  • Producing technical drawings, calculations, and design packages
  • Supporting projects through feasibility, detailed design, and construction stages
  • Liaising with utility providers, Local Highway Authorities, and external stakeholders
  • Assisting with technical approvals and ensuring compliance with highway standards
  • Preparing reports, schedules, specifications, and cost estimates

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience within highways, infrastructure, or consultancy environments
  • Excellent AutoCAD skills
  • Working knowledge of ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
  • Full UK driving licence
