Kitson Associates are pleased to be exclusively working with a leading housebuilder who are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join their small Bristol team. This role will involve some travel throughout the region.
Role and Responsibilities
- The Estimator will set, agree, review and deliver targets, along with producing accurate and timely reports for the business.
- Identify, escalate and manage any commercial issues.
- Responsible for the preparation of cost plans for both the appraisal of development opportunities and land acquisition itself.
- Work closely with both internal and external customers.
- Ensure that all estimating work required to deliver the budget is completed accurately.
Skills and Experience
- 5 years Estimating experience working for a housebuilder.
- Confident in building relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Solutions focused and work in a straightforward way to ensure the commercial team meets its targets.
Education & Qualifications
- RICS and a surveying degree or HND.
