This position will require a customer-focused Account Manager responsible for delivering against KPI’s, commercial targets and delivering propositions in line with brand guidelines and company objectives. The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing our client base by utilising high-level sales and account management skills with a view to building a portfolio of customers across the education sector. It is imperative that the Account Managers have good communication skills, a desire to learn and to be interactive and supportive within a vibrant, agile and growing Customer Team. Aptitude to develop a commercial mind-set and knowledge of sports is desirable, and an enthusiasm for relationships and commitment to personal development is key.
Strategic
- Identify opportunities for growth with the education sector by providing customer product feedback and insights to assist with planning.
- Ensure understanding and correct implementation of the Go to Market Plan, assisting with frequent assessment and revision of tactics and activities.
- Be a champion for Customer feedback for product and service, ensuring the best possible brand representation.
- Full 360 understanding of the Kitlocker Strategic Plan. Maintain consistency with Kitlocker company values.
Sales & Support
- Actively seek to generate new relationships and opportunities for incremental growth.
- Master all channels of Customer communication, such as online chat, phone and email.
- Responsible for delivery of incremental sales and execution of category initiatives to meet agreed KPI’s weighted to personal performance.
- Ensure customer experiences are consistent with the business priorities and deliver against key category objectives.
Account Management
- Be an effective communicator, managing customer expectations in a clear, concise and professional manner.
- Engage in regular transparent interactions with the customer to deliver updates that are gathered from information sources within the company and/or the brand.
- Develop a disciplined time management mind-set in working with a high volume of customer accounts to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Be insightful, understanding the customer needs and suggest appropriate brand, product and service solutions.
- Work within processes and collaboratively with all internal stakeholders to provide the best possible service and timely fulfilment of customer orders and requests.
- Develop impactful and long-lasting relationships with a client list of accounts to maximise relationships and revenue opportunities.
- Ensure in-depth knowledge across a wide range of brands and categories to ensure we provide the highest level of brand and product expertise with a view to grow specialist category knowledge and enhance analytical mind-set.
- Represent Kitlocker professionally at customer-facing events including welcome fairs, fitting sessions, on-site meetings and key education sector touchpoints, building strong relationships through in-person engagement.
Education & Certification
