Position Summary: The Kith - Treats Counter Associate is the face of the Kith Treats shop. They are personable, friendly, and focused on delivering a first in class experience to all new and returning Kith-Treats customers. They are passionate about desserts and committed to delivering a best-in-class experience capped off with a beautifully assembled TREAT!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Continuously providing an exceptional experience for each of our Treats customers, capped off with a visually captivating and equally delicious dessert.
  • Practicing and mastering the plating & presentation techniques used on each one of our creations.
  • Clean and maintain industrial kitchen equipment.
  • Using time between customers to manage inventory levels, to ensure we are always prepared.
  • Applying our iconic “Swirl” to our highly sought-after desserts.
  • Proactively communicating inventory needs with management.
  • Remaining updated on all company activations, as well as any brand partnerships.
  • Adhere to all company processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Follow all Food & Safety processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Adhere to availability and scheduling needs of the business.
  • Assist Shops Management team with housekeeping responsibilities, which include but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, collecting trash, and other tasks traditionally associated with standard food & beverage operations.

Special Projects:

  • Participate and assist in Physical Inventories as required by the business.
  • Assist Merchandising team during visual initiatives as required by the business.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Availability: Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as Holidays.
  • Availability to consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business’ needs require.
  • Licenses/Certificates: Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2) or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1+ years in a Host position. 1+ years in the Food & Beverage industry. 1+ years in a customer facing role.
  • Skills & Abilities: Multi-tasking while maintaining an upbeat and professional demeanor. Ability to lift and move 13.6 kilos. Ability to perform standard tasks that are related to retail operations including but not limited to, bending, twisting, and climbing ladders/step stools. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
