Position Summary: The Kith-Ronnies’s Porter is an important member of the restaurant/café staff and the overall dining experience of the guest. The primary responsibilities of the Porter will be focused on supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure they are able to provide the best dining experience for our guests. The Porter will remain in constant contact with the Management team regarding any assigned or pending tasks. They will work collaboratively to maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for all guests as well as all staff members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house and front-of-house areas.
  • Clean and sort all dishes and flatware.
  • Clean, sweep, and mop both back-of-house and front-of-house floors.
  • Collect and dispose of all trash in a clean and timely manner.
  • Wash and disinfect appliances, display cases, work surfaces, floors, and walls.
  • Monitor restrooms for cleanliness and cleaning supply replenishment.
  • Complete all other miscellaneous tasks as required by the business or assigned by management.

Special Projects/Tasks:

On rare occasions travel to support other F&B locations as required by the business need.

REQUIREMENTS

Availability: Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as Holidays. Availability to consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business’ needs require.

Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience as a Porter, Dishwasher
  • 6 months+ in a custodial, cleaning is preferred but not required
  • 6 months+ in the Food & Beverage industry is preferred but not required

Skills/Abilities:

  • Multi-tasking while maintaining an upbeat and professional demeanor
  • Ability to lift and move 30lbs.
  • Ability to perform standard tasks that are related to retail operations including but not limited to, bending, twisting, and climbing ladders/step stools.
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
