Position Summary: The Kith - Treats Lead is the face of the Kith Treats shop. They are friendly and welcoming, and strive to offer a top-tier experience to all new customers as well as returning ones. They are passionate and committed to delivering positive results for the brand. They are a support to the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in perfect alignment with others and collaborate to build true team cohesion
- Work with the Treats Management Team to set goals for personal skill development for themselves and their team
- Maintain a warm, friendly, and personal approach toward team members and customers
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Respect the company’s needs regarding availability and scheduling
- Maintain the cleanliness of their sales area and assist the shop's management team with housekeeping responsibilities when needed
- Consistently promote and uphold exceptional customer service
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the products, company history, company policies, and store and brand strategies
- Handle opening and closing procedures for the registers
- Ensure compliance with and supervision of HACCP standards
- Customer service: monitor customer feedback left on social media and respond appropriately and promptly
REQUIREMENTS
- Availability: Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as Holidays. Availability to consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business' needs require.
- Licenses/Certificates: Valid Food Handler Certificate/License is required. Valid Smart Serve Certificate/License is required.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in a sales-related position. Experience in a food and/or beverage-related role would be a plus. Customer-facing experience would be an advantage. Ability to interact openly and easily with others. Strong personal leadership skills and a desire to succeed. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, managers, and leadership.
- Skills/Abilities: Ability to perform business math. Ability to multi-task. Efficient communication. Ability to lift and move 30lbs. Ability to perform standard tasks that are related to retail operations including but not limited to, bending, twisting, and climbing ladders/step stools. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
