Position Summary: As the Sales Supervisor you are responsible for supporting the management team in performing and completing tasks as assigned. You will provide guidance to the sales team while supporting a positive store environment. Supervisors act as role models for associates by exemplifying support service behaviours and completing tasks in their specified areas of responsibilities. The Sales Supervisor contributes to a high performing team and consistently delivers a best-in-class customer experience. This role will be primarily focused on connecting with customers and employees, to assist in achieving store performance goals. As an important member of the management team, the Sales Supervisor reinforces performance expectations by consistently displaying and exceeding the Brand vision and surpassing individual and store goals.
Responsibilities
- Guides processes and completes work based on management’s direction on the sales floor and other functional areas within the store.
- Consistently ensures the customer experience remains a priority by exemplifying best-in-class service and holding the sales team to the company standard.
- Mentors the sales team by showcasing a genuine and effective in-store & after-sale customer experience.
- Partners in the implementation of initiatives designed to drive customer satisfaction and overall business.
- Assists the management team in achieving performance goals and fulfilling standard operating procedures.
- Supports store management by participating in and overseeing the completion of assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Remains knowledgeable of all current initiatives, priorities, and business metrics by reading company communication and interacting with store management.
- Follows the direction of the store management team and collaborates effectively with all employees.
- Guide work activities during the day, inclusive of before and after normal store operating hours when a manager may not be present.
- Complete any store opening & closing tasks in the absence of a manager, or as required by the business.
- Ensure adherence to all company policy and procedures, including but not limited to availability & scheduling needs of the business.
- Assist store management team with housekeeping responsibilities including but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, collection of trash, and other tasks traditionally associated with standard retail operations.
Special Projects
Participate and assist in the execution of any in-store or off-site events.
Requirements
Availability
- Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as Holidays. Availability to consistently work weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business’ needs require.
Experience
- 6+ Months of Management experience
- 1+ year(s) of retail/apparel experience
- Experienced in a commission environment is a plus but not required

- Strong Communication skills

- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at one time
- Ability to lift and move 25lbs.
- Ability to perform standard tasks that are related to retail operations including but not limited to, bending, twisting, and climbing ladders/step stools.
