Position Summary

The Kith– Ronnies Cafe London’s Bartender is an essential partner in the guest’s dining experience.

They will have an immediate impact on the overall experience, by not only directly servicing any guest(s) sitting around the bar area, but by also creating beverages that exceed all expectations.

Using their bartending experience, they will execute all menu items, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

The Bartender will continuously partner with all Front of House, Back of House, and Management teams, to ensure a seamless dining experience for all our guests.

The Bartender will become an expert on all in‑house beverage options and familiarize themselves with all menu items to address any guest inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Welcomes all guests and informs them of any specials, new menu items, while answering any questions they may have.
  • Preparing all ingredients required for all beverage options on the menu, including coffee, tea, juices, alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and sterilized countertop/bar area.
  • Serve any guest(s) sitting around the bar/countertop area while preparing all beverage orders placed by the Front of House team.
  • Remain educated on all food and beverage offerings on our menu, including individual ingredients to ensure potential allergens are communicated with all guests.
  • Continuously manage and maintain physical inventories of all beverage options and required ingredients to prevent any possible sell‑through.
  • Immediately address any customer issues, questions, and overall comments.
  • Partner with the Management team to address any matters that the Bartender is unable to resolve on their own.
  • Effectively communicate inventory needs, maintenance issues or overall concerns with the Management team.
  • Assist F&B leadership team with housekeeping responsibilities including dusting, sweeping, collection of trash and other tasks traditionally associated with standard food & beverage operations.
  • Special Projects / Tasks
  • Assist with the planning and execution of any on/off‑site events, including pop‑up events and private guests’ events held outside normal business hours.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and organized café by completing standard cleaning procedures commonly associated with a food & beverage outpost.

Requirements

  • Availability: Open & flexible availability, including evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays and consistent work on weekends, special projects, drops/releases or as the business needs require.
  • Licenses/Certificates: Valid Food Handler Certificate/License required; Valid Smart Serve Certificate/License required.
  • Experience: 2+ years in the Food & Beverage industry; 1+ year of Bartending experience; 2+ years in a high‑volume customer‑facing role; 1+ year processing cash and card transactions through a POS system.

  • Ability to perform standard tasks related to retail operations including bending, twisting and climbing ladders/step stools.
