Kite Packaging have a brilliant opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join their Warehouse team at their Letchworth site. Kite Packaging was founded in 2001 with a unique vision and a philosophy of employee-ownership. We were a true greenfield start up and have grown quickly to be the 2nd largest packaging distributor in the UK. In the past year Kite has been awarded ‘Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies in the Midlands’ and ‘The Sunday Times Track 100 Fastest Profit Growth in the UK’.

You will be joining our Letchworth Distribution Centre which consists of warehouse, customer services, purchasing and sales teams. Our distribution centres play a huge part in the business growth strategy through offering first class expertise to help its customer base reduce their total packaging costs.
Standard working hours: 08:00am-17:00pm Monday-Friday, however can be expected to start as early as 6:00am when required.
The role of Warehouse Operative Duties Will Specifically Cover The Following Areas:
- Picking sales orders accurately ensuring targets are met
- Use of barcode scanning handheld devices to record goods in, picking and product movements
- Assisting with additional dispatch, goods in and loading tasks
- Wrap, secure and accurately label finished goods
- Loading vehicles with finished product
- General daily checks and housekeeping duties
- Assisting with stock takes if required
Key Skills And Operational Requirements:
- Competent on Reach forklifts
- First Aid and Fire Marshall experience desirable but not essential
- Great eye for detail
- Passion and self-motivated
- Class 1 or 2 licence is desirable but not essential
