A Head of Engineering is required by a growing UK power company to join their leadership team in Birmingham area. This is a Full time permanent role offering a salary between £100,000 and £120,000, with 4 days per week office-based.
You will be responsible for leading the company's technical and engineering function, working closely with Development and Operations to assess new sites, manage grid connections, oversee procurement, and deliver power generation projects from concept through commissioning.
Requirements
- Experienced power engineer with delivery experience on small power projects (£5m-£20m)
- Strong knowledge of UK distribution and generation systems, including protection
- Proven experience working with UK DNOs and/or National Grid
- Ability to act as a Senior Authorised Person (or willing to achieve)
