We’re looking for a Quantitative Developer to join a global investment management firm at the forefront of a major data and AI transformation. This is a London-based contract role working with senior technologists, AI engineers, and business leaders to modernise core systems and drive automation, analytics, and decision intelligence across the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Build scalable data and analytics systems supporting multiple business functions.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale financial and operational datasets.
- Collaborate with AI and data science teams to design, train, and deploy ML models.
- Create automation and tooling that enhance efficiency and insight generation.
- Promote best practices in data governance and software design.
You’ll need:
- Strong programming skills in Python (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn).
- Experience building data pipelines and working with structured/unstructured data (SQL/NoSQL).
- Familiarity with the AI/ML model lifecycle from experimentation to deployment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience with C++, Java, or C#, cloud data tools, or financial systems is a plus.
