We are working with a major client on an ongoing HPC infrastructure project and need experienced HPC Engineers on contract. This is a hands-on environment — building, configuring, and maintaining high-performance compute clusters at scale. You will be working with job schedulers, high-speed interconnects, storage systems, and Linux infrastructure in a fast-paced delivery setting.
The kind of experience we are looking for includes:
- Slurm or PBS job scheduling
- InfiniBand or RoCE networking
- Parallel file systems such as Lustre or GPFS
- Bare-metal provisioning and configuration management
- Cluster monitoring and observability
- Linux systems administration at scale
You do not need all of these — but if several sound familiar, you are in the right space. Whether you have built your experience in research, financial services, cloud, energy, defence, or national labs — if you know what good HPC looks like, we want to hear from you.
Day rates are competitive and dependent on experience. Inside or outside IR35 available. UK-based, with on-site requirements.
