We’re hiring a Reliability & Capacity Engineer to join a critical infrastructure function within a major, regulated organisation operating at scale.
This role is all about keeping the infrastructure estate ahead of demand — ensuring capacity, performance, and reliability never become a constraint on the business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Planning and forecasting infrastructure capacity across servers, storage, CPU, power, and data centres
- Assessing the impact of new demand (e.g. additional servers, increased load, new projects)
- Performing headroom analysis and producing clear capacity and risk reporting
- Working closely with infrastructure teams to ensure the estate can scale safely
- Preventing performance degradation and “out of headroom” scenarios through proactive planning
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in capacity engineering, reliability engineering, or infrastructure performance
- Strong background in infrastructure estates (on-prem / data centre focused)
- Comfortable with capacity planning, demand management, and forecasting
- A proactive engineer who thinks ahead rather than reacts
