We’re looking for a strong C# / .NET Engineer to join a Back Office IT team within a financial markets environment. This role combines hands-on development with ownership of critical systems, supporting core operations while contributing to a broader data platform transformation.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting and enhancing existing back-office trading applications
  • Designing and building backend solutions in C# / .NET
  • Working closely with stakeholders across trading, risk, and operations
  • Contributing to data platform initiatives (Azure Data Lake / Databricks)
  • Maintaining and improving performance of production systems

What we’re looking for:

  • 5–10 years’ experience as a C# / .NET Engineer (backend/server-side focus)
  • Experience within financial markets, ideally with commodities or derivatives
  • Experience supporting and maintaining production applications
  • Exposure to Data Lakes and/or Databricks (Azure preferred)
  • Exposure to Python or willingness to develop Python skills

  • £75,000 – £95,000 (DoE)
  • Central London office (3 days onsite)
  • Hours: 8am–5pm
