We’re looking for a strong C# / .NET Engineer to join a Back Office IT team within a financial markets environment. This role combines hands-on development with ownership of critical systems, supporting core operations while contributing to a broader data platform transformation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting and enhancing existing back-office trading applications
- Designing and building backend solutions in C# / .NET
- Working closely with stakeholders across trading, risk, and operations
- Contributing to data platform initiatives (Azure Data Lake / Databricks)
- Maintaining and improving performance of production systems
What we’re looking for:
- 5–10 years’ experience as a C# / .NET Engineer (backend/server-side focus)
- Experience within financial markets, ideally with commodities or derivatives
- Experience supporting and maintaining production applications
- Exposure to Data Lakes and/or Databricks (Azure preferred)
- Exposure to Python or willingness to develop Python skills
