A Day in Your Neighbourhood:
- Lead the standards – Supervise all stewarding activity across the kitchen, restaurant and bar areas. Ensure cleaning, hygiene and food safety protocols are consistently followed and exceeded.
- Support operations – Make sure the team is set up with the equipment, tools and knowledge they need before every service. Keep back‑of‑house areas clean, safe and efficient.
- Team leadership – Brief, support and train the stewarding team daily. Motivate and role model high standards, while working closely with kitchen and F&D teams.
- Keep things compliant – Oversee COSHH, manual handling, and safe systems of work. Maintain checklists, schedules and training logs to ensure compliance is always up to date.
- Spot check & solve – Monitor cleanliness, equipment usage, and hygiene procedures, resolving issues proactively and reporting repairs or faults as needed.
- Control stock – Help manage chemical, consumable and equipment stock, ensuring ordering is timely and cost‑effective.
- Go green – Support sustainable practices including waste reduction, recycling, and efficient operations in line with our environmental goals.
