Full-Time Position (40 hours) - £30k per annum plus service charge. Your country home away from home, nestled within 12 acres of picturesque Hertfordshire countryside. We’re proud to be a place where exceptional service is delivered with warmth, pride and purpose. We’re currently looking for a passionate Breakfast Chef to join our dedicated kitchen teams.
Your role in our family:
- Work with an incredible team who provide our guests with unforgettable cuisine.
- Be responsible for ensuring that all food items are prepared and presented to deliver an excellent guest experience while assisting with food cost controls.
- Prepare and present high-quality breakfast dishes, ensuring consistency, quality and presentation standards are maintained throughout service.
- Ensure breakfast offerings are fully stocked, replenished and presented to the highest standards.
- Assist in positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
What would make you the perfect fit?
- Diploma or degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts or related major; NVQ Level 2 or 3 in professional cookery is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Breakfast Chef, Demi Chef de Partie, Commis Chef or similar role within a high-end hotel, restaurant or luxury hospitality environment.
- Solid understanding of excellence in customer service, preferably gained in a 5-star or luxury hospitality setting.
- Solid understanding of modern and classical cooking techniques, with the ability to execute a diverse range of dishes to a consistent level.
- Skilled in preparing a wide range of breakfast dishes.
- A positive, team-focused attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional breakfast experiences in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
