We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at The Alverton Hotel. You will take ownership of your section, ensuring consistency, quality and presentation are maintained at all times while supporting the wider kitchen team.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the preparation and service of your designated section.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standard.
- Maintain excellent hygiene, cleanliness and food safety practices at all times.
- Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in delivering smooth and efficient service.
- Assist with stock control, ordering and minimising wastage.
- Support and guide Commis Chefs and junior team members.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
- Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and high-quality food.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
- A positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
