Location: One of the most elegant country house hotels in the Cotswolds, Buckland Manor is set in ten acres of stunning grounds. With 4 AA red stars, 3 AA rosettes, and a member of Relais & Châteaux, Buckland Manor offers employees the opportunity to work within a traditional, yet friendly English country house hotel.
SERVICE CHARGE - We pay our team service charge each month! This service charge all goes into one pot, and 100% of that service charge is then shared amongst all the team at the hotel - every penny received is paid out to the team. Service charge can be in the region of £305 a month (around £3,600 per year) over and above base pay, for a full-time employee. The hotel may be able to offer on-site staff accommodation in order to help the newest members of the team settle into life at the hotel and local area, plus free parking is available on-site.

As a Commis Chef, you will be working as part of a passionate team of chefs. You will play a crucial part in the preparation of food that goes into the delicious dishes created by our chefs for our guests to enjoy. This role would suit someone who has worked in a similar environment previously.
- You’ll be working with fresh food, prepping, so that our chefs can turn it into delicious dishes for our guests.
- Being one team, everyone in the kitchen is responsible for keeping it clean.
- Nobody wants out of date food, so labelling your food is important.
- Work/life balance is important to us all, so we will always try to be fair with our rotas. We just ask that you can be flexible with us, so we can be flexible with you in return.
