Responsibilities
- To work as an individual and as part of a team by taking ownership for the correct preparation of mise-en-place and service for the section / department.
- To carry out all tasks as directed by your immediate supervisor/ manager and to assist in any other areas or duties within the kitchen/ hotel upon request.
- Have an understanding of what fresh food is in stock within the section you are working on by checking applicable fridges and freezers.
- To promote good communication within the department and proactively leave clear handover for any colleagues taking over the section.
- To proactively learn the duties within a section as you work in the sections.
- To seek feedback on your performance in order to reflect on areas where you can improve.
You will be required to work 40 hours per week, on a shift rota. All applicants must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
