We are looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our busy Japanese fusion food market stall in East London. Full-time position - 6 days per week. Pay: £21,000-£32,000 per year, depending on experience and hours.
About the job:
- This is a hands-on role working at a busy outdoor market food stall.
- You will help with food preparation, cooking, cleaning, serving customers, and setting up and packing down the stall.
- Food preparation and helping with cooking.
- Washing and cleaning kitchen equipment.
- Keeping the stall and work area clean and organised.
- Helping during busy service periods.
- Loading and unloading food stock and equipment.
- Setting up the market stall before service.
- Packing down the stall after service.
- Carrying stock, boxes and equipment.
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
Previous kitchen, catering or food-service experience preferred. Reliable, punctual and hardworking. Comfortable working in a busy outdoor market environment. Able to lift and carry stock and equipment. Able to work 6 days per week, including weekends. Good basic English. Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
