Eastcheap Records is 450 capacity, Cocktail bar and live music venue located in the heart of the city. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by assisting with various tasks, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the culinary staff. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment while contributing to exceptional hospitality. Duties
- Assist with food preparation and cooking as directed by the chefs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Support the culinary team during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating.
- Help maintain stock levels by receiving deliveries and organising supplies.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in regular cleaning schedules to uphold hygiene standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Previous kitchen experience is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Basic food preparation skills and knowledge of cooking techniques are advantageous.
- A strong understanding of hospitality principles and customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced chefs.

Job Types:
Full-time hours guaranteed until the end of December, we will issue a 3 month contract, once the contract expire we will subject the employe to review.
