- Assist chefs with daily food preparation and ingredient handling
- Prepare vegetables, sauces, garnishes, and other ingredients as instructed
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all kitchen areas
- Wash dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and cooking tools
- Ensure food storage areas are clean, organised, and properly labelled
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures at all times
- Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company procedures
- Assist with stock deliveries and storage of goods
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Report any maintenance, safety, or hygiene concerns to management
Previous kitchen experience is preferred - Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
