Kitchen Assistant - Artful Blend - London

• Preparing fresh ingredients daily, including chopping vegetables, portioning fillings and preparing food components.
• Making and assembling our signature toasties, sandwiches and other menu items.
• Preparing sauces, spreads and fillings according to our recipes and standards.
• Supporting daily food preparation to ensure the kitchen is fully stocked and ready for service.
• Monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients and minimising food waste.
• Following food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures at all times.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised food preparation area.
• Assisting with deliveries, stock storage and general kitchen duties.
• Working efficiently alongside the wider café team during busy periods.
  Previous experience in food preparation, a café or a commercial kitchen is preferred.
• A genuine interest in food and hospitality.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Someone reliable, punctual, proactive and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work mornings and weekends when required.
