Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, dicing, and measuring.
- Marinate and pre-cook proteins and other ingredients as needed.
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure quality and consistency.
- Keep your workstation clean and sanitary, and maintain hygiene across the kitchen.
- Label, date, and store ingredients safely, in line with food safety regulations.
- Follow allergen protocols and report any food safety concerns.
- Help with inventory checks, restocking, and organising supplies (heavy lifting may be required).
- Work closely with your team to keep service running smoothly.
- Support improvements in recipe execution and kitchen efficiency.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in kitchen or food preparation (essential).
- Knowledgeable about UK food hygiene and health & safety practices.
- Friendly, approachable, and a strong communicator.
Well presented, with good spoken and written English. - Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, reliable, and full of energy.
