As a Kitchen Porter, you'll play a vital role in supporting our kitchen team and ensuring the smooth running of service. You'll work closely with our chefs and wider kitchen team to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency throughout the restaurant. You will:
- Keep the kitchen, equipment, and work areas clean and organised throughout service.
- Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure clean equipment and crockery are always available to support a smooth service.
- Receive, move, and store deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in line with restaurant standards.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Work as part of a positive and professional team environment.
- Have previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a busy kitchen/hospitality environment, although full training can be provided.
- Are hardworking, reliable, and have a positive attitude.
- Take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
- Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Have good communication and teamwork skills.
- Are willing to learn and support the wider kitchen team.
- Have a strong work ethic and a hands‑on approach.
- Previous experience with Asian cuisine is desirable but not essential.
- Hold the legal right to work in the UK.
- Up to £13.50 per hour (depending on experience) plus a share of credit card tips.
