Who we are… Officially launched in 2022, our stylish waterfront hotel and resort is right on the shores of Salcombe's South Sands Beach. Bringing the outside in, the beachfront restaurant features a seafood‑inspired menu showcasing the best local produce in the region. An all‑day dining affair, expect relaxed banquette seating; the restaurant includes a wrap‑around terrace for lunch or dinner overlooking the water. The resort’s exclusive event space featuring an outdoor‑indoor flow offers chic beachside vibes. With views over the water, this stunning space opens out onto the lower terrace for outside eating and drinking. Our Beach Club Spa features an indoor pool, sauna, steam room and five treatment rooms. Harbour Beach Club is part of Harbour Hotels, a collection of prestigious hotels nested in some of the most beautiful locations across the South.
The role… We have a superb opportunity for a Sous Chef to join the team who is experienced in working in a high‑volume restaurant serving fresh, quality food. Experience of pastry is desirable. You will need to have a minimum of two years’ experience of working at Junior Sous/ Senior Chef de Partie level and be capable of running the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence. Proficiency in achieving FCOS targets and familiarity with current food hygiene legislation, including kitchen risk assessments, is essential.
