Cafe Supervisor

An opportunity has opened for a cafe supervisor with marketing experience. The role would suit an experienced hospitality professional who is passionate about good food & drink and loves to create great customer experiences. You will also be an experienced social media promoter with an understanding of cafe/ bar organisation and would like to take a step up towards a management role. The kitchen garden café is an independent cafe and party venue located in vibrant Kings Heath. We also host weddings and run a plant/art shop.

As cafe supervisor you will be jointly responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Café\’s Front of House operations. Your role will encompass overseeing food service, promotions, presentation of cafe and quality control.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee Cafe operations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere .
  • Organising events/promotions to encourage more footfall.
  • Train and develop staff
  • Monitor inventory levels, minimize waste and optimise turnover
  • Ensure all customers have a great experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all health safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • At least a years experience in a hospitality role
  • An understanding of SEO and social media marketing
  • Good IT skills
  • Barista training an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £10.00-£11.50 per hour
