We are currently looking for a passionate Commis Chef to join our Kitchen team on a permanent basis, with an immediate start to join us in consistently delivering memorable moments and five-star service to our guests and each other. As a Commis Chef, your main duties and expectations for the role will include:
- Be compliant in the preparation and service of dishes as laid down by the department's SOP and in line with company red star standards.
- Assist in ensuring all mis en place is stored, date coded and rotated in line with the company food safety policy.
- Assist in completing the daily checklist regarding mis en place and food storage.
- Carry out all reasonable requests ensuring the quality of work is in line with the company red star standards.
- Ensure understanding and compliance with the hotel's food and health and safety policies.
- Receive and act on constructive positive and negative feedback from senior members of the team.
- Suggest suitable ideas that will improve service standards or operational procedures in the department.
You will be required to work 40 hours per week, on a shift rota.
