Key Responsibilities:- Lead the overall quality assurance, quality control, and research and development functions, fostering a productive and high-performance work environment.
- Drive the development of new products from initial sourcing through laboratory trials to full commercial production.
- Continuously improve existing products, evaluate and approve new or alternative raw materials, and prepare product costing based on manufacturing inputs.
- Develop and update the company’s quality assurance framework, production standards, and standard operating procedures as needed.
- Lead projects and processes to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, conduct and report on quality audits, and resolve issues identified in performance reports.
- Ensure all food safety, quality, and non-compliance matters are investigated, with corrective measures implemented and followed consistently.
- Conduct stability and shelf-life studies for new products, oversee food safety training for production staff, and provide technical support to business operations.
- Collaborate with internal departments, customers, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and marketing teams to understand customer needs, support overseas markets, assist with technical issues, and participate in feasibility studies for overseas expansion.
- Other duties may be assigned by management.
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Quality Control and Quality Assurance practices.
- Previous experience in Quality Management and conducting Quality Audits is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Food Technology and related standards.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
- Knowledge of Mandarin is essential to communicate with counterparts overseas.
