About the Role
Our client is an established, Singapore-based logistics and freight forwarding company. They are looking for a dependable Class 4 Driver to operate a 24-footer lorry on daily delivery and collection routes, supported by an attendant.
What You'll Do
- Drive a 24-footer lorry for daily local delivery and collection runs
- Load and unload cargo together with an assigned attendant, including use of an electric pallet jack for loose cargo
- Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and report any faults or damage promptly
- Ensure proper documentation, e.g. delivery orders, pick-up orders and tally sheets
- Comply with all safety requirements and Singapore traffic regulations while on the job
- Support container-related handling duties as required
- Perform other operational duties as assigned by management
What Our Client Is Looking For
- Valid Class 4 driving licence with a reliable driving record
- Experience driving a 24-footer lorry
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading/unloading and manual cargo handling
- Familiar with Singapore roads and traffic regulations
- Hardworking, reliable and safety-conscious
