Kit Out London CC is a grassroots football club based in East London, focused on helping young players develop skills, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging through the game. This is a part-time, on-site Football Coach role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Football Coach will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate training sessions that develop players’ technical, tactical, physical, and mental skills. The role involves supervising and supporting players during training and matches, promoting teamwork, fair play, and positive behaviour on and off the pitch. The coach will provide constructive feedback, track player progress, and communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and club staff. Responsibilities also include ensuring a safe training environment, aligning with club values, contributing to team selection, attending fixtures, and participating in relevant coach development activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong Football Coaching and general Coaching skills, with experience working with young players.
  • Good Football knowledge, including understanding of tactics, player development, and match preparation.
  • Clear and effective Communication skills to engage players, families, and club staff.
  • Training and session-planning skills to design structured, inclusive, and progressive practices.
  • Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g., FA coaching badges or equivalent) and current first aid/child safeguarding certifications are highly beneficial.
  • Prior experience in grassroots or youth football is advantageous, along with the ability to manage groups safely and a commitment to inclusion and player welfare.
  • Availability for evening and/or weekend training and matches, and eligibility to work in the United Kingdom are required.

Days required: Tuesday 5-8, Saturdays and Sundays 9-11:30 off season.
