Kismet Kebabs is a leading food manufacturing site specializing in Frozen Kebabs, Chicken Kebabs and semi‑cooked and sliced Kebabs. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, innovation and excellence. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Factory Operative to join our team in LATCHINGDON, Essex. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery and equipment (jet washes) safely and efficiently
- Ensure all metals, trays and moulds are clean and free of debris and dirt
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential; training will be given
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods essential
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks
- Ability to drive and access to own vehicle advantageous due to location
