We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Maintenance Supervisor based at Breagha House, Hayton, near Retford. Responsible to the Group Property Manager (North), the successful applicant will be responsible for the upkeep of the site and surrounding provisions in the “Lincs North West” sub-region.
Key responsibilities:
- Development and delivery of an efficient and effective planned and proactive property maintenance service
- Arranging and managing unplanned or emergency works efficiently and effectively
- Ensuring safe and effective management of all property maintenance works undertaken by external contractors
- Completing and recording relevant audits, reporting, and resolving faults and hazards promptly
- Liaising with Care Home/School Managers regarding planned and reactive works
- Scheduling work with internal and external labor, procuring materials, equipment, and plant as needed, in accordance with company policies
About You
What experience or qualifications would I need?
- Ability to organize, oversee, and carry out maintenance repairs to property
- Experience supervising external contractors and internal team operatives
- Experience with property-related audits, compliance systems, and servicing regimes (boilers, fire equipment, etc.)
- IT literacy, including MS Word/Excel, email, and electronic defect logging apps
- Trade experience (preferably joinery), practical skills, and flexibility to supervise and perform physical work
- Knowledge of industry health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and method statements, with a willingness to learn
