About The Role
Working with all levels of the Staff Team to safeguard our young people at all times. Assisting the Registered Manager to utilise staff to ensure that shifts run smoothly and with appropriate numbers. Oversee medication administration in line with Individual Pupil Care Plan (IPCP). Maintaining clear and accurate records, including leading on care planning and producing reports as required. Chairing regular staff meetings and handover meetings, ensuring all relevant information is disseminated appropriately and in a timely manner. Working with the Training Department to promote the importance of training and support individuals to complete relevant qualifications through regular supervisions. Creating positive relationships with the young people, offering them unconditional dignity and respect. Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural, and cultural needs of the young people. Ensuring that the needs of the young person are being met and reviewing and recording changes to those needs.

About You
What do we need from you? Here at Kisimul, our fantastic training, induction, and mentor programmes mean that we can teach you all you need, apart from:
- A Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care or in Children's Residential Services, or qualified by experience
- Leadership experience, preferably within Children's Services
- A genuine passion for care and contributing to the progression of others
- A strong team player
- Resilience to keep going during difficult times and to ask for support if needed
