Salary: £35,000 per annum

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Hours: 36 hours per week

Maintenance Support Administrator - The Role:

  • You will oversee the Help Desk function, managing reactive maintenance work orders and ensuring data accuracy within our facilities management system.
  • Working closely with the Estates team and external contractors, you will coordinate job paperwork, maintain maintenance contracts, monitor stock levels, and assist with procurement activities.
  • Your role will drive system optimization, produce service level reports, and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely completion of work and best value for the organisation.

Maintenance Support Administrator - Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Help Desk operations, reporting and assigning reactive maintenance work orders with accurate data management.
  • Ensure complete job paperwork and provide maintenance reports including KPI and service level metrics.
  • Maintain all maintenance contracts within the facilities management system.
  • Monitor, control and track stock alongside the Estates team.
  • Source and negotiate supplier contracts, managing procurement for quality, price and terms.
  • Liaise with contractors to ensure timely work order closure.
  • Research and evaluate new products and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Maintenance Support Administrator - You:

  • Help Desk experience with a trade background, capable of offering basic problem-solving advice.
  • Experience determining necessary goods, services and equipment for organisations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with strong analytical thinking.
  • Self-motivated problem-solver able to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong prioritisation skills and ability to adapt to manage change.
