Kisharon Langdon is seeking a detail-driven Finance Assistant to join our Group Finance team and help support our vital work empowering people with learning disabilities and autism.
Location: Colindale, Northwest London (NW9)
Salary: £19,166.59 per annum
Job Type: Part Time (24 hours per week), Permanent

The Role: The role provides financial support across both accounts payable and general accounting activities within a group finance function. Responsibilities include processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, reconciling bank accounts, and supporting the Finance team. The position requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Effective communication, teamwork, and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Process supplier invoices/staff expenses, ensuring accurate and timely entry into the accounting systems
- Ensure proper coding of invoices and adherence to company approval workflows
- Assist with preparation of payment runs and ad hoc payments
- Reconcile supplier statements monthly and follow up on outstanding items/supplier queries daily
- Support Senior Accounts Assistants
- Other ad hoc duties as required by the Group Financial Controller or the Finance Team
- Bank account reconciliations and bank reporting
- Administration of Operations teams local expenditure processes cash and card
- Administration of KL petty cash systems
- Excellent Numeracy and Literacy skills
- Strong Excel skills including (pivot tables, xlookup)
- Highly IT literate
- 1-2 years experience with bank reconciliations
- 3-5 years experience working with Accounts Payable
- Good accounting knowledge
- Strong proficiency with accounting systems and financial controls
- Strong analytical problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
